Best German Chocolate

Recently, for a Back-To-School party, I made a German Chocolate cake, using a recipe off of A Dash Of Sanity. It was soooo goooood!

It actually was the second time I used this recipe. It was so soft, and the icing was so delicious...  I wish we still had it, but unfortunately, it was finished pretty fast.)':

  I definitely recommend trying it!

To make it yourself, you  need:
  •  Cake
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • German Chocolate Frosting
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3 egg yolk, beaten with 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Here's the link to the recipe German Chocolate Cake@ A Dash of Sanity

  Enjoy!
