A few years ago, my Mom made this ↑, and it was really good! It's actually 2 recipes combined; one for the cake, and another for the "carrots". I'll include them both below!
To make the cake
- Whisk one box of chocolate pudding with 3 3/4 c milk.
- Spread into an even layer in a glass casserole dish.
- Blend a package of OREO cookies into crumbles, and layer on top of the pudding.
- Wash and dry strawberries, preferably large onez.
- Line a tray with parchment paper.
- Melt some orange candy melts. You may want to add a bit of oil to make it smoother and easier to use.
- Holding your bowl or pot of melted chocolate on an angle, and holding your strawberry by the stem, dip both sides into the chocolate, and then lay on tray. Repeat with all the strawberries.
- Let sit till hard.
- Get a sandwich bag, and cut of the tip.
- Pour some melted chocolate into the bag, and drizzle over top of "carrots".
- Let sit till hard.
To Finish
- Place "carrots on top of cake.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Enjoy!
