Strawberry-covered Chocolates

Ever heard of strawberry-covered chocolates?
Do you love the taste of Hershey's chocolate? Are you having a friend over soon? Perhaps you'd just like to whip up a snack for your family. These strawberry-covered chocolates are an easy treat for any occasion!

To make, use:

About 14 strawberries, not too small

Cool whip for dipping ( We had leftover from a Fourth of July snack)

Begin by washing the strawberries. Then cut off the tops, and if there are any bad parts you may cut them off too.

Using a melon scooper, scoop a hole in each strawberry. You don't have to do a whole scoop in each.
Prop them up in something, such as an ice cube tray or egg carton.

Begin melting chocolate. I used a chocolate melter, but a double broiler might work, as well as a microwave. Begin with one bar.
Stir and add another after a little while.
Spoon into the holes in the strawberries.
Melted a third...
Put in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Dip in cool whip and enjoy!

Optional Method for chocolate lovers:  Melt another chocolate bar, and mix it with cool whip in a bowl to dip the strawberry covered chocolates in!
