GOOT

Hello again! It's been a while since I posted, but today I want to tell you about something our family likes to use for numerous different reasons:GOOT. It stands for "Garlic Oil Ointment Treatment." It's very easy to make and can be used for so many different things. It doesn't have any chemicals in it and it's very good for you. Most importantly though, it works well.
GOOT has 3 ingredients: garlic, olive oil, and coconut oil. Let's talk about these ingredients real quick.

     Garlic Here's a little bit I found on D. Axe's website:

"Experiments have shown that garlic... is highly effective at killing countless microorganisms responsible for some of the most common and rarest infections, including the common cold."

Garlic is a natural antibiotic, but it also feeds the good bacteria in your gut, instead of destroying it like a conventional antibiotic would do. It was used for many years to heal cuts and wounds. It's antimicrobial, so you can put it on a cut to kill bacteria, and also to help the cut to heal faster.

Eating garlic helps to regulate your blood sugar levels, and also contains antioxidants that prevent Alzheimers. Taking garlic daily helps to lower high blood pressure, and reduces plaque in your arteries, helping you to have a healthy heart.

Olive Oil Olives are full of antioxidants, which will help you to have healthy cholesterol levels. Olive oil also helps with weight loss, while having a healthy fat and supporting brain health.

Coconut Oil The benefits of coconut oil are so vast that I won't try to list them all, but here are a few.
Coconut oil is good for your hair, skin, and teeth. Taking it daily helps with weight loss, too.

It's antibacterial, and great for wounds and bug bites. It's also great for brain health.

Coconut oil helps you to absorb calcium and magnesium better.

GOOT is a combination of all three of these great things, and has so many uses! Rub it on your sinus or chest if you are congested; rub it on a cut or wound to prevent infection and help with healing; dab it on canker sores; cook with it; and just experiment to see how else it can help your family.

Making it is very easy. You need an equal part of all three ingredients.

Garlic (washed and peeled)

Coconut Oil

Olive oil. Now you may notice that this is not olive oil. We were out of olive oil, so I used some liquid coconut oil so we'd still have the same consistency as usual. I think it should work just as well.

Blend the ingredients together until it's a smooth consistency.
It's pretty thin at first. Once you refrigerate it, it will get thicker and less messy. Keep cold and use when needed. Hope you enjoyed!

Have you ever made GOOT? What has your family used garlic, olive oil, or coconut oil for?

  1. Goot sounds really good for you! Sadly I wouldn't like it because I don't
    like the taste
garlic but I do like the smell.๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Very good! Also we’ve rubbed GOOT on little ones feet’s before bed to naturally reduce fevers. And if someone isn’t crazy about the coconut scent use “refined” coconut oil.
