What we’ve been up to/What to look forward to

Hello! I have not posted since March 6, so I definitely owe you readers an update! Here are some things we have been up to these last few months:

  • Going to church more regularly
  • Making friends
  • Going to a ladies retreat
  • Hosting small groups for the first time
  • Spending lots of time on the porch and loving the warm weather
I have not given up on blogging! I have a lot of exciting posts coming up, so you can look forward to those. Here are a few things you can expect to see within the next few months:

  •  Another post full of great book recommendations
  • A Greater Purpose stories
  • A post about my favorite songs/channels from YouTube
Also, I’m hoping to publish my book on June 24, though that’s  just a goal. (June 24 is my blogiversary). As I get closer to publishing, I’ll probably do a cover reveal post, giveaway, and lots of other fun book posts!

Is there anything else you’d like to see posted here? What have you been up to?
Laura

  1. Fun post, Laura! Thanks so much for updating us!! =)
A post about your favorite songs and channels from Youtube sounds great! And WHOA WHOA WHOA WAIT HOLD UP, you're publishing a book? What's it about? Are you self publishing it? When did you start writing it??
    That's so excited for you!

I haven't been up to too much.....me and my sister have a concert to preform in in a few days, and then we're going to the theater on the 25th for the release of a movie we've been waiting to see, and then we have plans with family in May, so I'm excited! =D
Do you have any plans for May?

    1. Yes, I am! It's called Leaning On the Everlasting Arms. I guess I haven't mentioned it much on here before :P It's about an orphan (fourteen-year-old Meg) who goes to live with a big family om a farm. Soon cholera strikes and she learns to lean on Jesus. Oh, and it takes place in 1897. I started writing in in about 2014, but didn't write very often. I'm hoping to self publish through Kindle Direct Publishing, and I can't wait!
That's neat! Are you singing, or playing an instrument? We don't have anything special planned for May, but tomorrow we're probably going to be having friends over that we haven't seen in a while. They have 11 children, so that will be fun!
Thanks for commenting, and have a nice day!
