Pecan Bars

Today I'm going to post how to make pecan bars.
A few years ago, at a library sale, I got a recipe box with this card in it.
We based our pecan bars off of this recipe, and I will tell you how we made ours.
First we got our ingredients out.  We used -
Molasses
Pecans(we somewhat crushed them with a spoon, maybe not very well though)
Flour
Butter
Cooking spray
Baking powder
Brown sugar
Eggs
Vanilla
I don't know if I skipped anything there.
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
We might not have measured our ingredients exactly as listed.
Pour 1 and 1/2 cups of flour into the bowl of an electric mixer. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and stir with a wooden spoon.
In a separate bowl, microwave 1/3 cup of butter for 30 seconds. Add about 1/2 a cup of brown sugar and stir with wooden spoon.  Pour mixture into the bowl with the flour and mix using electric mixer.
Spray a 9 by 13 inch glass casserole dish with cooking spray. Put the mixture in it and press it down. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes.
Beat 2 eggs with a fork for a while. Add 3/4 cup of molasses, a little salt, a little vanilla, about 3 Tablespoons of flour, and about 1/3 cup Brown sugar. Mix, not using electric mixer. Pour over crust (after crust is out of the oven for them 10 minutes). Sprinkle with crushed pecans.

Cook for about 27 minutes. After they come out, let cool, then slice and eat!
The recipe on the card used dark syrup. We used molasses, but perhaps they would've been better with corn syrup.
